Who doesn’t like pizza? But, the stuff you get at the parlor isn’t exactly nutritionally sound. What to do? Join this class to learn how to make pizza that is a delicious and nutritious meal. Learn the secret behind making whole-grain crusts that are so light in texture that even kids will eat them! We’ll make fire-roasted tomato sauce as well as pesto, roasted garlic, and olive tapenade for alternative spreads. Examples of toppings include caramelized onions, sautéed fennel, roasted red bell peppers, mushroom-shallot sauté, sautéed broccoli with garlic and red pepper flakes, spinach, and a variety of cheeses. We'll top the pizzas to order. They take less than 10 minutes to bake. You’ll also learn how to make everything ahead of time, so your future pizza parties are fun for you as well as your guests!
